- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 8 slider buns
- 8 thinly sliced fresh pineapple rings, sliced in half
- 8 butter lettuce leaves
SIMPLE TERIYAKI SAUCE
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
THAI BASIL MAYO
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup Thai basil
- 1 small garlic clove

Directions
Divide the hamburger into 8 even portions.
Form each portion into a round, flat patty.
Fry the patties in the olive oil over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes. Remove the patties and set aside.
Fry the pineapple in the same pan with the hamburger drippings until golden and caramelized, about 2 minutes per side.
To assemble the sliders, place 1 teaspoon mayo on the bottom slider bun.
Put meat on the bun, spoon teriyaki sauce over top, and top with a few slices of caramelized pineapple and the butter lettuce. Serve hot!
To prepare the teriyaki sauce, whisk all ingredients in a bowl, and set aside.
To prepare Thai basil mayo, whirl all ingredients in the food processor until thoroughly chopped and mixed well.
