Ground Beef and Lasagna Soup

Ingredients
- 2 pounds Five Marys Dry-Aged Ground Beef
- 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
- 1 Red Onion - Diced
- 3-4 Cloves Fresh Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
- Kosher Salt & Black Pepper to Taste
- 1 - 28-ounce Can Crushed Tomatoes or Prepared Marinara Sauce
- 6 Cups Chicken Broth
- 10 Dried Lasagna Noodles broken into pieces
- Garnishes: Chopped Chives & Shredded Mozzarella
Directions
On the stovetop, brown the ground beef in olive oil over medium-high heat.
Transfer the browned ground beef along with the rest of the ingredients to the instant pot / slow cooker. Make sure to season generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking Instruction:
FOR INSTANT POT: Apply lid and set for 6 minutes. Manually release pressure and serve.
FOR SLOW COOKER: Set to high for 2+ hours serve once the noodles are tender.
Serve with lots of shredded mozzarella and chopped chives.
